What kind of job would you recommend for someone looking to start over, run away, and/or uninterested in having a “real” job?

Hey friends! What would you do if you were in Miami with limited funds and a short deadline and were desperate to change your life in some dramatic, Don Draper-esque fashion? WWOOFing, maybe? Find a job on a freight ship? Anything, really.

The training starts on Wednesday. I think I’m mostly worried that the organization might not be so great and, given the nature of the work, I won’t be able to meet their expectations. Everyone I’ve spoken to so far has seemed really nice, though, so we’ll see. Thanks for the kind thoughts!

From my experience, the second interview was much more like a proper interview with all the typical questions that you would expect. I came prepared with a ton of statistics on voter turnout from 2014 and 2016 and was later told that I seemed really enthusiastic, so it definitely helped. I think as long as you talk…

Oh, cool! Your spelling of “canvass” made me suspect as much because I’m pretty sure it’s “canvas” but their job listing definitely uses “canvass” and now I am totally unsure of its spelling.
