...does not work with XP

@stopsucking: that would be beyond the purpose of the man cave... even though... if you wanna play online games on a console, a fast DSL connection would make that possible. I couldn't imagine that they would let you put in cable internet or something

talking about security, i would have built in a motion sensor alarm system, maybe a number key access at the door, and they have these nifty little invisible plastic films you can put over a window which avoids breaking the glass.

@Cupajo: also, check the entry on gizmodo where the author talks about not giving into the mac peer pressure. LOL

when i needed a tv table, i bought 6 cinder blocks and two wooden boards and some paint. I ended up having a nice two shelved tv table with space for DVD, PS 2, TV, and an aluminum case of CDs. It all cost me 15 dollars in total.

when i find a two page resume on my desk I usually go quickly over it and see if it is interesting or not. If it doesn't grab my attention within the first ten seconds I look at it, it goes in the trash immediately.

since the above mentioned timershot doesnt work on vista, I downloaded widcom's webcam manager, but it costs a lot of money... I have made a time-lapse video of our last work party with it which turned out to be a lot of fun. then put it in windows movie maker (yes, i like that tool a lot) and compressed it down to 55

this guy is certainly paid to advertise the software he listed. it is a marketing strategy and every man has his price (and of course woman... which is usually higher... just mentioning PRADA here)

HOLY SHIT!!!! I just tried to download something through looktorrent! Malware all over the freaking place!

The facebook thingy is fantastic. It looks clean, sleak, and supports smileys. since I am online with facebook all day anyway, it is more useful for me to have it there (that makes me sound like a loser, doesn't it)

it looks like that the ipod or iphone might fly through the car cabin with the first sharp break because I am too stupid to see that red traffic light and realize it in the last moment... ipod gone!

when do men purses become popular again???

yeah, it always seems like that IE is one step behind. but i have to admit, i am not opposed to IE. my work limits us to using it because some web based software does not work on Firefox...

I actually love the cigarette case idea, especially when i go out to bars, it limits me to the most important things I actually need that night (ID, credit card). also, if i would lose it, both is easily replaceable within a day.

I would be such a noob. I just got an older laptop that i can ruin in any way i like. so i might give it a try sometime this weekend. thank god for cheat sheets

so, what is the big fuzz about ubuntu or linux anyways?

sooo... I am trying to download the "Outlook on the desktop" tool and am highly disappointed... It is only 673 kb "big" and takes now 25 minutes to download. I am sitting behind a T1 connection. Can somebody help me out here?
