I was waiting for Glenn to come across a shark in the road so he could jump over it.

With Glenn’s survival The Walking Dead just became pure Disney. These writers are so cowardly.
Ewoks to Wookies like it was originally intended.
Yeah I'm pretty tired of the mindset that children are delicate flowers who can't handle darker themes.
Earlier reviews had already led me to believe the original ending and tone is intact. And thank god. Any other ending would miss the point. I was afraid they'd take the coward's way out and give it a contrived "happier" ending.
Definitely one of the most shocking deaths in the series. The writers reached new levels of boldness with that one. I was stunned for hours afterward. I wept for days.
The Wolves raid Alexandria and nobody important dies. Glenn surrounded by hundreds of walkers and somehow survives. Maggie gets her hand stuck inside a walker and doesn't get bit. Daryl is told not to speak or he'll get shot. He speaks and doesn't get shot. Invincibility of popular characters has reached absurd levels…
Rick and Abraham would really make a great team. All hell's breaking loose and the only thing on their minds is getting laid.
Filler.
*COMIC SPOILERS* Hopefully they have the balls to use Glenn or Daryl for you know what. Otherwise they shouldn't even bother. No one else will bring the needed impact.
Ugh. Don't get me started on Beth's horrendously written death. Though that does lead me to another example. It seems to me that all the signs pointed to Carol dying (Consumed episode, internal bleeding, etc.) but they realized her popularity and decided to change the script and kill Beth last minute. Obviously I…
I agree with your point, I do. But Kirkman has killed enough fan favorites that it FEELS like nobody is safe. Any character safety has now been earned. Killing Carl would be a huge waste of potential. Andrea is the definition of a survivor. Maggie is the last surviving Greene. Michonne has suffered more than most. I…
The problem is that most shows aren't set in a zombie apocalypse. Also The Walking Dead is based on source material where there are no safe characters.
Actually Kirkman has straight up promised that Rick won't make it to the end of the comics. As for the show he's admitted that he's too afraid to kill Carol. He's never said anything other than that for the mediums. But we all know there are far too many safe characters in the show despite their constant assurance…
For some reason female-female relationships are generally more accepted than male-male relationships. Nobody ever complained about Tara but the moment Aaron and Eric kissed there was a small uproar.
Whatever happened to Eric? Did AMC seriously pander to the viewers that whined about a gay relationship?
This Glenn storyline would be so much more powerful if he were ACTUALLY dead. When will the writers realize that “safe” characters are detrimental to the emotional impact of the storytelling? This could be so good but instead it’s just frustrating.
They’re going to milk Glenn’s fake out for as much unearned emotion as its worth aren’t they?
Seven safe characters in a zombie apocalypse is absolutely embarrassing though IMO. Rick Grimes should be the only safe character. There's no good reason that Daryl, Carol, Glenn, Michonne, Maggie, or Carl should be wrapped in armor though. It's writing cowardice.
