Btw, it’s pretty much CONFIRMED Iran helped plan, finance, and organize this assault.

So you attack others for offering up plausible ideas

According to the NYT, reporting on sources in US and Israeli intelligence, the Iranians did not know Hamas was launching an attack before it happened. I have no independent knowledge one way or the other. My felicitations to you if you do.

I’m just going by the NYT reporting on it, quoting US and Israeli intelligence. If you have different information, I’m sure they’d like to know.

Well if you have any better theories as to why this happened now, which appears to have left “experts” scratching their heads you’re welcome to offer it up.

Occam’s Razor being applied based on all the evidence laid out before.

I doubt Russia has much to do with it. They need Iran’s support (equipment) and Iran potentially being pulled into a more active conflict with Isreal is only going to hurt that.

I 100% disagree they had no part in this.

Iran had stopped providing direct support to Hamas by 2015 due to finding themselves on opposite sides of the Syrian Civil War (Iran and Russia back Assad, Hamas supports certain rebel groups against him). Plus, there’s a pretty big ideological and sectarian divide between the two. Iran sees itself as the preeminent

Oh, I did. I just don’t see the relevance of blaming Russia and Putin for a military blockade that has been in effect since 2007. Eventually the people living under such conditions may rebel.

Russia is relying on Iranian military supplies and does not need Iran pulled in multiple directions. Apparently, Iran had no idea this was coming.

While we’re blaming Iran and Russia, might as well throw China in there too. Literally any country we don’t like can be blamed for this... except for the one currently enforcing the open air prison in Gaza.

I’m not saying they are developed fully yet.

Look at the negative story this week about AV5 vehicles. A hit and run driver tossed a pedestrian under the wheels of a Cruise. What did the story talk about. “Woman trapped under wheels of an AV5 vehicle!”

I think you’re wrong

It’s a lot farther away than 10 years. We’re decades away from fully-autonomous, get-in-and-take-a-nap vehicles.

“Nearly 10k of the 43k people killed last year on traffic accidents were killed but drunk drivers.”

I think we are a decade or less than better than a drunk uncle self-driving cars.

We’re decades away from AV5 tech, because that would require massive infrastructure support and a universal system independent of manufacturers.

Having to pay attention is one reason why there is no middle ground. If I still have to constantly pay attention, then I may as well not be using these systems at all.
