Contrary to what you might think, “group manager of raw materials” is not a worthless executive position, especially at Tesla (because they are so vertically integrated).

Do you really think that any car manufacturer just goes and buys raw materials for list price on Ali Baba?

One can almost hear the nine year old Musk “designing” the CyberTruck: “And it will be made of stainless steel and it will be bulletproof and you can use it as a boat and and and and...”. And as to where the design inspiration came from...

It’s mind-boggling that you actually think this will ever be a real production vehicle.

There’s no way that the Cybertruck under its current design is going to certified to be road legal in most American states and theres zero chance of it being on the roads in the EU. it’s Vapor ware on wheels. it’s never going to be an actual viable product

Probably wanted to work on a viable product.

Bruh, you not tipping means NOTHING to the owner of the business, it only screws the staff.

there’s no need to tip based on tax.

if you go to a place where employees are paid by tips and you don’t tip you’re a bad person.

I’ve internalized that not tipping is the equivalent of telling wait staff that they have done a terrible job.

This has driven me to the opposite effect: not tipping. And businesses will start losing workers when more people choose not to.

Tipping is purely crap. Why should I pay more so an employer can underpay their workers and pay them less?

What makes me mad is the impact this tipping fatigue will have on servers and staff that actually need the tip.”

You see the problem here . . . it isn’t the customers

A tipped employee will take home AT MINIMUM the federal/state minimum wage. The employer must guarantee pay to that level if the tipped employee’s tips do not cover the difference between the “tipped minimum wage” and the federal/state minimum wage.

Why avoid going? Just don’t tip.

until that changes let’s remember many of these people make well below minimum wage.

Tipping should absolutely die because it’s dumb, but waiters and bar staff are NOT getting paid by their employers without tipping.

Not in many states. Where I live servers get about $3 an hour, about enough to cover the taxes on claimed tips.

Fuck all tipping. It’s not the customer’s responsibility to pay your employees.

It should not be the customers job to pay the employees.
