I like how this is the second time in three episodes that Jeff agrees to do something as long as the other persons stops talking.  In this episode, Pierce about to explain what he can get with $220, and in Debate 109 with the Dean offering Jeff a night of companionship (if you know what he means) if he join the debate

I was going to use the "This is a fight" bit if Craig J. Clarke didn't like Debate 109 but you beat me to it.

- I agree with you about the Halloween episode.  I enjoyed the cold open; Abed, Britta, and Pierce's stories; and some of Troy's story.  The plot of the episode was dumb especially for season 3, and the unusual cruelty toward Britta has never been funny to me.

After you finish season 1, be sure to watch the outtakes.  This episode has some great scenes especially from Troy and Abed.

I wonder why this episode didn't air as early as it could have.  It has production code 103 (I know production codes don't mean everything) meaning it would have aired after "Introduction to Film."  This would have been fine since Abed said last episode leaned heavily on him (it did), and it introduced the Human Being

All the characters randomly have different phones in different episodes besides Jeff who has some form of a Blackberry.

Britta isn't moving in with Troy/Abed/Annie.  She was carrying Troy's red duffle bag that he packed in The First Chang Dynasty and had again at the end of Finality when he met up with the group.  Troy is just moving out of the blanket fort and into his own room.

It's not terrible.  There aren't any brain-dead, soul crushing, stupid plots and it's mostly lots of singing and goodbyes.  They didn't sing "Good Riddance (Time of Your Life)" so it wasn't horrible.

@violincatherine:disqus Like NBC is still going to be around when you're 100 years old.  Football and The Voice can only save them for so long.
