AdBlock has had a way to support the sites you liked for a few years. You can disable blocking for a specific domain, so you can support the sites you like. Sadly, most of the "big boys" have been using Flash and Javascript-based ads which I simply do not tolerate, so AdBlock was re-enabled.

SMART data isn't really that useful unless you watch how it changes over time. The raw numbers are not very useful in predicting drive failures, just the rates of change are any help. Even when you watch it, there's no way to know when it will actually fail.
