Wow, that Crucial 960 GB SSD is an excellent deal—$300 is a bargain for that much solid-state storage capacity! If you're going from the mechanical hard drive [most computers come with one of these] to a solid-state drive, everything about your computer will feel faster—and you'll never want to go back!

That's a good deal for sure! The C720 is a nice machine!

Yep, Aldi is a good place to save money by buying off-brand stuff (that tastes exactly like the name-brand stuff). I've gone to dedicated grocery stores in my area, as well as stores like Walmart and even Big Lots (for dry food)—Aldi's prices almost always match or undercut the competitors' prices for the same size

This is for Dr. Nerdlove and The Sad One:

Good deal on the Samsung SSD! If you're paying less than $0.50/GB on an SSD or flash drive, it's probably a good deal!

Perhaps I'm barking up the wrong tree posting this here, but I believe that people would be better served by buying a device upfront and going with a no-contract monthly 'plan.'

Well-said on the headlight restoration kit! Dealerships always charge too much to service cars...as soon as the warranty expires, find a knowledgeable local mechanic and take your car there for future problems. You'll pay less, and probably get better-quality work done.

Wise moves; especially not paying for a new car: talk about a bad investment! Getting a used one that's a couple years old but in very good condition is almost like buying new—but without taking the depreciation hit! And considering how much cars cost, that amounts to thousands...

Alan, this is a good explanation of frugality! I tackled the issue in an article I wrote six months ago, when a friend told me how his $10 Walmart shoes needed to be replaced after only a month (and his feet constantly hurt as well)!

Good advice—sounds like the Millionaire Mindset! Practice living on less than you earn, and you'll watch your wealth grow (it may help to make a game of it...that way you'll be more likely to stick with it)

This is helpful advice to get started investing! Great post—shared on social media!

I'm a fan of the PNY 64GB MicroSDXC card for $30, and the Intel 480GB SSD for $210. I advocate SSDs here, here, and here. SSDs are probably the best value in personal computing today!

How about a 2011 Ford Falcon FPV GT Black Edition?

I'm definitely a fan of the 64 GB flash drive on Newegg (though it's listed at $30, the $20 only applies after promo code) and the 128 GB flash drive for under $40, listed above. The Newegg deal on the desktop computer system (listed under "PC Parts") for $300 is a steal as well!

Microsoft still charges $129 for a keyboard for the Surface Pro 3, though. The ASUS TransformerBook T300 used to be a better deal at $800-850 (though the price is currently over $1000—so it's worth waiting for the $700 TransformerBook Chi to drop later in February 2015).

This is good advice—make it a regular occurrence, or you probably will put it off and never get around to keeping your finances in order!

I've heard the lottery described as a "tax on people who can't do math." Sad but true!

Great catch on the Silicon Power S80 240 GB for $90! A good deal for sure!

I'm a fan of Dave Ramsey and Ramit Sethi! While nobody offers perfect advice that's true in all situations, they try to inspire the right kind of mindset—which is critical for getting your finances in order!
