They’re fighting back against a shitty move. Publishers need to know which lines to cross and which not to. Would you have wanted EA to have had no push-back from turning Battlefront 2 into a Pay-to-Win game with lootboxes? The majority of gamers didn’t want their product to be that way so they pushed back.

Doubtless, the Epic Games Store needs work, but Steam’s stranglehold isn’t good for anyone, and competition—something people have been begging for for years—isn’t always friendly.”

I really hope Epic has paid them an awful lot of money for exclusive rights.

Yes the backlash is ridiculously childish.
But they HAD to have seen this coming.

My best guess is pre-orders were lower than hoped, and they optioned for the exclusive rights money, and hoped they could slip under the crazed eye of consumers.

The reaction is less they want it on Steam. It’s more they’re upset that they did this so close to the release date, after it had been up for preorder on Steam. Afterall, you only have to look at games that released on other platforms like Origin, and see quite a lack of outcry for those games. Heck I think there was

Chariana Portable, and Chariana Grande.

Best move? Own it. Roll with it. She should sponsor a popular brand of portable grill, kick in endorsements, the whole shebang, a la George Foreman. Call it “Ariana Grillde” or something just as silly. Watch it sell like hotcakes.

[subjective opinion]

Now playing

Castle crashers was amazing.
But when I saw the the link preview I definitely thought it was gonna be the intro theme.

Now playing

This menu theme kept me playing this game for years, and years.

I haven’t played in 8-9 months.
Just before it exploded into mainstream.

But I Remember going to squads to troll.

Basically float in the air for a few minutes waiting for the team to pick a direction, then go the polar opposite angle from all of them, and chameleon around the map while they all died.

Just something

Feels like if Beat Saber, and DDR were combined, it would be one hell of a great workout.

Usually I get thrown off when a game that doesn’t feel that old reaches a milestone.

But something about Minecraft makes if feel like it’s been out for almost 20.

Two new years later, and this comment is more relavant than ever lol.

I Hope this leads to a more open environment on Playstation for smaller games.

There are so many good indie games that really could use cross play from PC to PSN.

Sometimes even within the same household having one person on PC, and another on the couch with the most popular console on the t.v. is exceptionally common.

Agreed. With subscriptions you just pile up games you might never even play. Just pick a few games a year to play since most games will last for hours and hours anyway. Games are announced so far in advance that you can realistically choose which games you want to buy and save for them months in advance.

I hate that you don’t make these new articles with each update. It renders commenting useless. Looking still comments from may when it’s an August update is blah. It only gets worse as time goes on. How about “best 8 games as of may 2017.... best 12 games as of August 2017" and so on and so forth. Will anyone ever
