I was going to mostly say this. People are always so interested in “going.” You should never go unless you HAVE to. There will be so many other people “going” that your odds of survival are much smaller than if you had stayed and let the hysteria... “correct” itself.

Yeah, a lot of doomsday preppers put a huge emphasis on guns and seem to just *want* to have an opportunity to gun down some of their fellow humans. Obviously having some personal defense on you is fine, but in the long term people will only survive through cooperation, not gunning each other down.

The Sith fleet had the same problem as the Clone army. How was Kamino able to build a galaxy conquering army on just one planet completely hidden from everyone else? How was one Jedi able to authorize the creation of the army? Who paid for it? How did the Republic not notice the funds going towards the army?

No, you don’t. Not when he’s had eight years to do something -- anything, especially as he brags about his “record” as an executive even when his constituents have plenty of evidence that all he’s done is throw them repeatedly under the bus — and he literally did nothing.

We ALL owe it to the Deadspin staff, the Splinter staff, and Gawker to fight until the very end. Just as they did for us.

The myth that baking is about precision needs to die. This myth turns off way too many would-be home bakers. Depending on the recipe you can make some pretty big deviations while still getting a good bake. Heck I make bread and pizza dough without even measuring.

This is what I think we will start seeing - low-level nobodies will start getting arrested like crazy. With every single testimony, more witnesses will be called, more people will be implicated. With every single deflection and refusal cooperate, more people will get wrapped up in it because then the cover-up starts…

This is what has always killed me. At the root of the whole “Actually, I hope Donald Trump stays in office, because Mike Pence would be so much worse” argument, there is the implication that he’s some master of the dark arts of politics. That he’s some chess master who knows how the machine works.

Came here for the sharks with frickin’ laser beams joke. Not disappointed.
