I kind of disagree. The Milan perfected the beigeness to this Jony Ive-sque cleanliness. Way back in 2008 I remember renting one and thinking it had the cleanest interiors I had seen. The IP, the gauges...it was honestly a nice place to be. (For a rental car, certainly.)

I test drove the non-Si civic hatchback against the GTI (both new) and picked the civic. The GTI has nicer tactile materials inside, but the cabin felt cramped (relative to the civic). I also think the steering on the civic is nicer than the golf. The GTI is just direct and will make your passengers sick in a DD
