To be honest, most dealers (or manufacturers) don't help the case either. They try to put pressure on you to drive around the block for no more than 5 minutes and expect you to buy the car.

Definitely agree on the F-150. I'm 6'4" and bought one last year. It is the only vehicle (and I've owned many) that does not give me a headache from being restricted in any dimension.
