That hard looking plastic dash totally detracts from that sweet wood. It's not too hard these days to add stitching to soft touch plastic for a faux leather look dash; heck, even Cadillac is doing that these days....
It's apparently not obvious to a lot of folks, otherwise there wouldn't be that glorious, slightly used car market out there. But then again, we live in a 30k millionaire society, so it shouldn't be surprising.
