Olympia is so great! I did it last summer. Hiking in the temperate rain forest on the western side of the park is a must.

Crater Lake National Park in OR - they have a boat ride on the lake and it stops at Wizard Island for a few hours so you can hike up.

Oregon: Cape Falcon (beautiful day hike), either Breitenbush (a hippie spa type hotspring) or Umpqua hotsprings, visit Seaside on the coast, eat all the food in Portland

I bawled like a fucking baby. Being in the path of totality was goddamn amazing. The locusts and crickets began to make noise as it got darker, and the temperature drop was super cool. It was a really incredible experience.
