I went through this very thing last week. Had a mammo followed by an ultrasound, both techs told me that if it is painful it would unlikely be cancer. Mine ended up being cysts and they can drain the cysts if they get too uncomfortable. Please remember 8-10 lumps are NON cancerous. Best of luck to you!
