So, this PolyflouroEster is silicone, right?

This actually really sticks in my craw because the beauty industry has sold us this lie for so damn long. Those tiny dots on your nose aren't blackheads! Talk about a beauty myth.

Except those tiny dots on your nose aren't blackheads. They're sebaceous filaments. They're a normal function of your skin. The beauty industry has sold us this lie that they're blackheads for years. It's bull. You can't pull real blackheads out with a biore strip.

Nobody here us confusing blackheads with sebaceous filaments filaments, right? It's a common mistake. Sebaceous Filaments are absolutely natural, we all have them and there is nothing we can do to get rid of them. Blackheads, however, are a form of acne. And there are things you can use to help with them.

Was he a gynotician?

I love everything about this comment. I wish more people shared this point of view. I too am a formerly obese person who never for one instant felt comfortable in my body. Sometimes people do genuinely want to lose weight, and too often it seems like we're almost vilified on this site.

Yup, it's called Suits and it's in it's third season already. She's fantastic in it.

Yep!

She always looks insanely fab. I'm a fan of Diane Lockhart on The Good Wife too.

Are you sure? It's hard to tell from the gif and she usually wears a blazer. But regardless, she wears plenty of suits. Just thought this gif was perfection.

Jessica has known this for years.

I've got no frickin' idea. The only real solution is to try to avoid media that contain messages you don't agree with. Which, I admit, is sometimes the enemy of fun. But fun isn't always good for us, right? I try to just cut down on media I don't ultimately agree with and spend money on media I truly love, and hope

I think the popular notion that the media we consume doesn't affect us in ways we're not totally conscious of is pretty absurd.

Right. And every single person in Steubenville hasn't had criminal charged pressed. Saying they've been "destroyed" by public pressure to examine ways in which their culture may have contributed to this crime is dramatic at best. Yes, threats of any kind are absolutely inexcusable. (Those threats also went both ways.)

There is a decent argument to be made that the glorification of that football team city-wide contributed to the boy's apparent contempt for other human beings. So, on that level I would argue that everyone in Steubenville should examine how they might contribute to a culture that allows boys to grow up with that

Destroyed? I'm sorry, did roving bands of angry feminists come through and burn Steubenville to the ground, salting the earth on the way out? Nope! Two boys were put on trial, convicted, and sentenced. Adults were told to take responsibility for their role in what happened. As for Christmas day death threats, that is

Lima drinks a gallon of water a day. For nine days before the show, she will drink only protein shakes - "no solids". The concoctions include powdered egg. Two days before the show, she will abstain from the daily gallon of water, and "just drink normally". Then, 12 hours before the show, she will stop drinking
