As someone who's parents made them go see the originals (yes there are more than one of these things) this is strangely exciting. Nic Cage running around in a post-rapture political thriller? He was born for this role.

I've got the weirdest 10/19 right now.

I'm hopeful this is what it is but I'm afraid they are just going to push the premier back to midseason. Let's not even think of the worst case scenario in which Whitney gets moved to Thursday and Community gets burned off on Fridays.

I'm not sure I'd call it out of character. I'm pretty sure Drew's sex scene even riled up Bill O'Reily. But I think we even got an anal sex reference from Adam and Kristina this week with Kristina saying she didn't want to do that "one thing" because "it hurts".

I actually really liked how they did the reveal of Kristina having breast cancer. The show didn't draw it out or put in a cliched doctor's speech. You immediately knew what was going on with the music taking the place of any dialogue. Plus, at this point I think I just take for granted Jason Katims' gift for picking

Whenever I'm listing my favorite shows to other people, Parenthood rarely gets mentioned. But goddamn if I don't enjoy spending an hour with the Bravermans. This show is just so great with the low key moments.

I also expected Walt to yell at Todd for taking notes. "Todd, is you taking notes on a criminal fucking conspiracy?!"
