A Fast Ferry reference? As a Rochester native this excites me far more than it should (not enough to actually watch Rookie Blue, but still). Hopefully there are a couple of characters lamenting the Fast Ferry's demise because they have a sudden hankering for a Garbage Plate.

Probably not as in it will still happen?

As much as I hate to admit it, your first paragraph there is dead on.

Not to make this into a wake, but this sucks. It felt like all of us as fans have had our backs against the wall, fighting for this show for three years (especially these last few months). We've scratched, clawed, and annoyed friends and relatives into watching the show, even when we knew it had little to no effect

What ever mortal showrunner sins he committed, how long until Harmon gets another show to run? I'm hoping the answer is soon and he's not on some showrunner blacklist.

Exactly. Hopefully that is a good sign for Fridays next season.

And Todd, you jackass*, tell us everything you know about what's going on behind the scenes and how likely it is that Harmon comes back.

As much as that episode would work as one, here's to hoping it doesn't go down as the Dan Harmon finale.

I thought they were grooming Biegal to take over for Lawrence. Is this strictly a budget thing or is it in Tyler Perry's contract that he has to be the official showrunner for every new TBS sitcom?

Also cool to hear Bill Lawrence as the voice of Vincent/Vinny. His voice-acting isn't nearly as awkward as his actual acting was on a couple of Scrubs episodes.

It's hard to be Jewish, it's hard to be Jewish, it's hard to be Jewish in Russia yo.

I'm worried that Happy Ending's lead-in of DWTS looks better on paper than it will turn out to be. It's not going to look good when Happy Endings loses a big portion of that audience and finishes behind New Girl. But pairing it with Apt. 23 makes a lot more sense than pairing it with Modern Family.
