Even if one doesn’t agree with the racial part, it’s undeniable that American freeways are poorly designed when it comes to traversing cities.

Just wait three more years and you can head over to Canada (where the grey import rule is just 15 years compared to our 25) and buy an R34 and drive it home, instead of paying these outrageous prices. Or get one shipped from Japan using your own preferred methods.
As a Vita owner I found the Remote Play experience with PS4 to be heavily overrated. The compromises with the physical controls just ruined most games that I tried. The novelty of playing on a Playstation branded handheld just wasn't enough of a draw.
“Mentally ill” is a pretty broad spectrum.
Big V8 pickups are not going away anytime soon in the US. There will be a civil war before that happens.
One word: China.
I believe in personal freedoms. I don’t judge people for driving oversized pickups... until they decide to park them in spaces that are meant for something closer to the size of a Toyota Camry. If you do that, you’re as much of an asshole as someone who parks a Mercedes S-class in a space meant for a Chevy Sonic.
Agreed, as a PC player I avoided most of the technical issues - but I too believe that the technical issues even on consoles are the least of the problems. Bugs and performance can eventually be patched. Bland gameplay, not so much.
I wonder if they’re going to demand the right to smoke on airplanes next. My lungs, my choice!
... AWD is not a must. Get winter tires and a 2WD vehicle will beat the pants off any AWD vehicle that doesn’t have them.
When I’m too tired to cook and I have coupons in the mail, I visit the Subway that’s 0.2 miles away from me. Still less unhealthy than other fast food.
The controller-only part really doesn’t bother me at all. Many genres simply control exponentially better with dual analog sticks than with a keyboard and mouse, and if you’re doing split/shared screen it’s often the only way to get those additional players in-game. I’m honestly surprised that developers even bother…
One important thing to note regarding USB-C is that product listings often do not make it clear if the HDMI adapter is actually a Thunderbolt adapter (which would make it useless for most AMD machines, and even odd Intel-powered ones like the Surface). When in doubt, buy from somewhere that allows refunds, such as…
This truck is perfect for Europe and Asia, where in addition to constrained parking space dimensions and high fuel costs, many countries in those regions use the engine displacement to calculate the annual registration tax, with high-displacement V8s costing thousands of dollars a year just to legally own. It’s no…
The PS5's disc drive can read DVD movies. CD support definitely was dropped in the PS4 and PS5, though I doubt 99% of users noticed, especially Generation Z users LOL.
Backwards compatibility is a HUGE challenge when the hardware architecture completely changes. Trying to run a PS3 game on a PS5 is like trying to run a classic PowerPC Mac app on an x86 Windows PC. The code won’t execute, period. The only solution is to either include additional hardware chips capable of running that…
Norway imposes high excise taxes (not including their also-high VAT!) on ICE cars, so a Chevrolet Camaro ends up costing as much as a Model S (which is exempt from those taxes and also VAT exempt).
Regarding reliability, I would stay away from the S/X which have more power-operated luxuries that will quickly break out of warranty (e.g. the motorized door handles on the S).
Pretty much every entry-level luxury car is overpriced. The $40k+ base price of a BMW 3-series or Audi A4 gets you hard and uncomfortable leatherette and basically zero tech other than the backup camera (which they would still charge extra for until the feds mandated it in 2018). The car isn’t even that powerful in…
Mark my words - the incel problem that we’re dealing with in the West is going to explode in a far worse manner in China over the next few decades, thanks to the gender imbalance. The saving grace is that unlike in America, sickos there don’t have easy access to firearms, so mass murders are less likely to happen.
