Breasts have evolved over time. Back in the Roman age they were made of Jello. This is historically accurate.
It isn't quite as simple as that, but I like your optimism.

This seems to be a personal preference.
It's only gone unfinished as long as it has because the developers have been working out of their own pockets. If they had a little more funding so that they could dedicate more time to the project, I'm sure we'd have it in our hands a lot sooner.
I don't see a problem supporting their hard work. I do however see a problem with supporting unfinished work.
Black Mesa was last year's best game. On account of being a remake/improvement of one of the greatest video games ever made. You all should play it if you haven't. It's absolutely mindblowing. Still great. Only real complaint is that they kinda botched Surface Tension, which is generally considered one of the best…
There aren't a lot of free games (or mods) where I look at them and say "Even though this is free I'm going to get the paid version". This game is by far one of them. Loved the work their team did on it and will definitely support them.
Will absolutely buy. In before people find a way to complain about supporting developers who deserve to be compensated for their hard work.

Whoa
Their bite being infectious/poisonous is a bit of a misnomer, actually.
