I think you’ve forgotten how this thread began. I’ll recap it for you...

None of what you just said matters now, really... Why? Because the rear mid engine car we’ve seen being tested is definitely not a Cadillac.

I see maybe a few design details from that that may have found their way into the C8's design, but, I suspect, the finished product might have a lot of C7 design “flavor” in it.

I nominate this for COTD...

I’m not too big to admit being wrong... I don’t see finding out I was wrong a bad thing... it’s an opportunity to discard the wrong information and learn what the correct information is.

I saw these a bit ago... and frankly... I’m glad to be wrong about C&D’s renders, because that C8.R looks bad ass... I can’t wait to see what the production C8 Corvette looks like when it’s revealed... I really hope we don’t have to wait too long to see it.

In light of the pictures of the C8.R that popped up today... it would seem I placed too much faith in C&D’s rendering being accurate... which I am fine with... because the C8.R looks pretty bad ass... and I am now even more excited to see the C8 Corvette when it is revealed.

In light of the images of the C8.R race car that popped up today, we now have a better idea of what the C8 will look like... and apparently, C&D’s renderings were quite off.... so, I concede that point, you were right about C&D’s rendering. I just go off of the available information I have, and up until I saw those

That was like 4 CEOs ago.

Yes... I saw those... and in light of that, I admit it appears that C&D got some things right, and others wrong... but that’s how things go when you’re trying to figure out what a car that hasn’t been released and has only been seen wearing camo looks like...

How can Rey fix the problems with the Jedi Order, if she doesn’t know how the Jedi Order worked... what they believed... she could have taken the books so she could examine them to find where the Jedi went wrong.

If old games were made open source under a GNU Public License, one can not do that... modifying a GNU open source program and trying to sell it would be a violation of the GNU license... a GNU Public License is an arrangement whereby software or artistic work may be used, modified, and distributed freely on condition

I wasn’t big on it at first, but, the more I look at it, the more I like it. It’s kinda the same thing as I went through with the C7 taillights... at first, I hated them... but the more I looked at them, and the car overall, I realized that the round taillights didn’t fit the design... and they started to grow on me.

Actually... if you look closely... the Corvette does in fact wear the Chevrolet Bowtie... it is contained within every generation of the Corvette emblem:

One thing you forget to account for... test mules do not always wear the same body panels as the production version will. There could have been minor design changes that were made after the test mule’s were constructed. Being that the test mules we’ve seen on the roads are for testing the durability and performance of

I’ve been considering the idea that Corvette might be spun off into its own brand, but, I kinda hope they don’t... why? Because that means we’d inevitably get Corvette SUVs and Crossovers, and that would be sacrilegious, and crimes against humanity. That being, I’d much prefer Corvette remain under the Chevrolet

Lol... we’re more likely to discover alien life than we are to see GMC bring out a rear mid engine supercar... but thanks for the laugh.

There is no photoshopping on those leaked images... how do I know? Well, I remember when they were first leaked, and the leaked images I provided are exactly the same as the ones when the leak first occurred. Also, the statistical probability of someone faking pictures of a front and rear fascia that perfectly matched

So what if the Corvette has never had an engine mounted behind the driver? The current Corvette ZR1 is pretty much the pinnacle of what can be done with a front mid engine Corvette. Tadge Juechter, head of Corvette design thought that the Z06 was the best that could be done, and was surprised when they managed to get

Here’s what it most likely is going to look like... I say most likely, because there are pictures online that were leaked by a GM employee, likely from the paint shop at the Corvette factory, showing the front and rear fascias of the C8 Corvette, and they’re damn near a perfect match to Car and Drivers rendering.
