Isn't the Holden Ute and the Pontiac G8 share the same platform? If so, couldn't one argue in court that the platform upon which the Ute is built has already met DOT specifications and crash safety standards? Further, couldn't one argue based on that that the Holden Ute is street legal in the U.S.?

Gonna have to look

"sub-seven minute...sub-seven minute...blah, blah, blah"

Personally, I'm gonna call BS... They won't give an exact time, or a full length video of the lap, so why should I believe them?

Full Length, timed lap video, or didn't happen...

There's another good reason... This one I have personal experience with... And that is the Trucker nodding off behind the wheel...

I was riding in the front passenger seat of a friend's car on the highway, and another friend was in the back. We were stuck behind a Semi Truck (no trailer) that was driving slowly, and

Yoda drives an XJ? Pretty big car for such a small Jedi... But then again, he probably just force drives anyways...

"Oh... Wait... Stupid Human, I don't want to get out..." *bolts back into pool*

Except... It only comes with an Automatic Transmission...

Granted, but at least stupid jokes are funny. This wasn't funny, it was just stupid.

Sorry, but that was stupid.

I actually found several things in that Volvo commercial rather impressive.

1. The fact that the electronically controlled steering of Volvo's trucks is precise enough to drive backwards (with a trailer attached) in a perfectly straight line.

I can not say for certain I have done 50 mph on a BMX, but I will say that I'd be surprised if I haven't exceeded 50 mph at least once on some of the massive downhill roads (MUCH steeper than the road in the video) I rode my BMX down as a kid/teen... I know I easily passed cars that were doing the 35 mph (40 in a few

I suppose you've got a point... At least we're agreed that the Ridgeline isn't really a truck.

Your picture got Kinja'd...

No other truck does, if I'm remembering correctly... other than the Independent rear suspension, it doesn't really share any characteristics with other pickup trucks, other than it looks like a pickup truck. In reality, it's a pickup truck for people who don't really need a pickup truck... They just want something

I'm sure I already know what it'll look like, as I'm betting it'll just be a rebadged version of this.

The problems with the Honda Ridgeline are:

1. That it has a permanently attached bed... Thus, it'll never be adopted by the commercial fields which require a pickup that they can place specialized beds onto (i.e. ones that contain drawers, storage areas, etc.), and;

That's ok... It's learning via rote memory...

I can dig a convertible version. After all, it's only natural to make a convertible version of a Sports car... But making a Sports car into a Sedan? No thanks.

THIS is what they should do if they want to make another version of the FR-S/BRZ/GT 86! Not some stupid Sedan, or Wagon. All these people clamoring for a Sedan version of a Sports car... instead of a convertible? *smh*
