<sarcasm>Yeah, I’ll bet taking Root commenters out of the greys - an in some cases restoring their ability to comment - is at the top of their list.</sarcasm>

This was literally my first thought after reading this article.

I got 3 to 1 odds that Sarah comments on Jezebel. I’ll eat my hat if I’m wrong.

I was wondering the same thing. It’s like he just got finished eating someone’s heart or something.

I’m hoping those videos end with someone getting punched in their throat.

In highschool we also had dudes who continuously tried to make one of our vegetarian classmates, eat meat.

I know you don’t have the answer to this, but I’m wondering why your family - or anyone for that matter - would do this? As far as violations go that is right at the top. Things like that can really give you some serious trust issues.

It boggles my mind that anyone thinks contaminating someone’s food is a reasonable response to perceived slights by a diner.

It puts an even whiter spin on the already aggressively white avocado toast, which is like Tomi Lahren using skin bleaching cream.

Exactly. I was watching the docuseries Rotten on Netflix (which is really amazing) and they discussed in one episode how people died from nut allergies. It may not be a threat to me because I’ve never had any type of allergy to nuts, but it’s very real for someone else. Something as small as slipping a bit of unkown

Faded people.

Exactly! Whenever any meaningful topic of race comes up there’s always an effort on their part to kill the conversation and replace it with some lobotomized bullshit. They absolutely refuse to step out of their comfort zones.

You could fit the Pacific Ocean into the massive blindspot They have regarding race/racism and still have room left over for the Grand Canyon. Yes Greg, you are indeed missing something.

What’s most scary is the same people that have been exposed to, and practice, racism for pretty much all their lives are the first to tell POC (and anyone else who will listen) to stop making a big deal about racism.

I had a manager who was a retired NYC cop and I don’t think I’ve ever met anyone so determined to have zero accountability for themselves.

Right? I was going to write a comment about this but wanted to see if anyone else caught it first. That is a line for the ages.
