Uh oh.

Boss exploits your labor

Minimal concerns are not valid.

There not valid though. Its a fucking game. So what if their based on indigenous people. If they were based on anything else there would be outrage too its ridiculous. If you don’t like it then don’t play it, dont try cancel it

Came in here expecting to see the boycott being about how the game is owned by the chinese government and about the genocide.

Why bother, Kotaku doesn’t care about gacha games unless there is some woke issues behind them like just now, Kotaku number one simp also forgot to mention how the hashtag is dying because its just fake outrage and its even switching to some #dobetter(maker of this game) hashtag because no one really wants to boycott

If this is Fisher not being cryptic, maybe he should go back to being cryptic. Because if this is the whole story basically boils down to:

You can’t make money off someone else’s brand unless they allow you to. Just because they choose to not enforce their rights like Disney does, 100% of the time, doesn’t mean they lose the right. Nike can say, Jesus shoe sure whatever, free advertisement for us. Nike’s within their rights to protect their brand whenever

Women in bikinis in hot tubs at a public pool don’t generally solicit ‘donations’ from gawkers passing by.

If Twitch wants to be softcore Onlyfans, that’s great...as long as they’re up front about it.

Gotta admit, I actually find this pretty funny.

Why the hate? It’s a funny meme and I loved it even though I kinda dislike Fortnite.

I’m sure plenty of them are pretty happy to be creating technology that will help US Army infantrymen communicate better and check their surroundings better to keep everyone involved as safe as possible, including civilians.

THE AV CLUB

Understandable. This harms their brand even when they’re not a part of the collaboration.

I hate that we as a society fall for these type of games. Not only because it’s a whole system that depends on taking advantage of people already predisposed to it, but also because it teaches other companies to ditch single player, story driven games. “It’s better to turn everything into a goddamn casino”

In fairness to the Simpsons...the AV Club doesn’t really cover ANYTHING, anymore.

Look the question isn’t “why doesn’t AV Club cover The Simpsons anymore?” because that’s fucking obvious. The real question is “why does AV Club still cover Saturday Night Live?”

I mean, yeah

I find the level of hatred that people express about views that differ from theirs, and the violence of language towards others, disturbing.”
