The xfiles wasn't/isn't bad. They're full of shit when they said it was proofed but it's not a bad job. The show feels waaay more like a film. But I like you prefer oar.

I wanted to like this film more than I did but the rest of the series is so bad I just couldn't give a shit. It is a solid film but I just didn't have the emotional connection with it that it wanted me to have.
There's so much meta commentary in the show it's kinda mind boggling.
