Cheers man, that tells me a lot. During A-10 development, GE and Philco-Ford designed their own 30mm cannon for the project. GE won out and the 30x165mm Philco cannon fell by the wayside. Which would make sense that a Colonel for T&D would have a cart from the Philco gun.

Ehhhh...Aluminum is a fantastic heat soak, I agree. Its why its used in heatsinks and radiators. But its just a lightweight jacket for the DU penetrator.
