First of all, I like Lowry lol. It’s just not a shot I’d typically like to see someone take if not necessary.

IIRC, Lowry scored 21 in the first half (at least 19). He got into foul trouble, but even when he did get to come in, he wasn’t aggressive on the offensive end.

Right. I heard JVG say that as soon as it happened and I kiiiiind of get them letting him go back out to shoot them.

He's typically pretty smart out there (even though I strongly dislike his personality lol), but I think he gets caught up in trying to draw fouls and things like that sometimes rather than just making the smarter play. Steph does too, but he gets 90% of the calls lol.

The player (almost) always wants to be out there. Especially in THAT moment (regular season they still often want to, but in the championship game, no question). But it's the team's (medical staff, coaching staff, etc) responsibility to make that decision.

Best I could tell, he was just arguing that it was continuation and not an "on the floor" foul (which would bet him 2 points and a potential third from the free throw, thus putting a W out of reach via a Steph full court heave, which had looked pretty accurate earlier).

Although, he only put up 5 second half points.

Yeah, I saw Green look pissed when Cousins did the quick foul and I was baffled. Was texting with some friends during the game and one told me right at that moment how he was still up jogging around after he tore his ACL and that him being up didn’t mean much of anything.
