The fact that no one started CPR is insane. I don’t remember reading about this in March for some reason (feels like I would have). Seems like at least someone would be certified for this very reason (I mean, high schools have to have trainers at all games and a lot require doctors, as well).

I wasn’t saying they were 3 missed 3s from winning — it was just noticeable that as they closed the gap, they couls never get over that hump (where a made 3 would have certainly swung momentum some in addition to taking the lead even lower).

I didn’t see any of that. And if they discussed it in the 2nd half, I never heard reference (aside from the Tatum miss where he was blocked and they said 2nd missed dunk — but that didn’t stick out to me like what you just described).

You’re definitely right. I looked at the box score during the first half and Boston’s starters looked decent save for I think Brown (someone was like 3-11ish while all others hadn’t missed a lot). And Love didn’t hit much (though at this point I don’t even count JR).

I only watched the 2nd half, but Boston couldn’t buy a 3. Cleveland played harder/better, but if Boston could have got even a few shots, it sure would have felt different (particularly when they shaved that lead down to 7 twice, IIRC).

Cleveland wasn’t getting swept. Was the margin shocking? Maybe. But the Cavs were getting at least one W.

It doesn’t need to be anything extreme — just subtle deviation from this game (e.g. Tucker and/or Gordon not dropping 20, Klay and Steph hitting a few more 3's, etc.) and the Warriors win.

Even before James took the shoulder, he wasn’t as aggressive in the 2nd quarter (though in fairness, it’s hard to be expected to be after just dropping 21 lol). And he spent some time on the bench.
