Even before James took the shoulder, he wasn’t as aggressive in the 2nd quarter (though in fairness, it’s hard to be expected to be after just dropping 21 lol). And he spent some time on the bench.

The flagrant call on that drive (I think it was Iggy) right after Green/Davis had been tied up was the right call. That said, it still felt almost wrong because you could see the intent was to wrap him up and keep him safe, but unable to put the ball up.
