Clean lines, how I miss thee. The 90s had some great design conventions.

I want to rent a 911 and drive it hard on a great road somewhere. This seems somewhat doable as 911s can be rented (expensively) in a lot of cities, so hopefully I’ll check this one off eventually.

You don’t forget because you’re loading your kid in. You’ll definitely remember when you step outside and you’re missing a shoe.

love reading the comments and finding casual promotion of eugenics

hey go fuck yourself thanks

this probably scares me more than anything else I could dream of when we eventually have kids. I am infamous for going on “autopilot”, especially in the morning when I’m not fully awake.

They give away their content for free on the website. How is that supposed to sustain subscriptions? Genuine question here. I love Car & Driver and this sucks.

Star this comment dammit!

I’m confused, why are you sitting here commenting when you are supposed to be buying all of these cars?

Anecdotally, no O’s fans wanted Jones to leave. He’s basically an institution here.

I generally am not a fan of the downward-sloping trunks of recent Mercedes’, but this thing looks undeniably sleek. You can’t not look like a boss when you roll up in this.

Trypophobics need not apply.

Camrys are waay nicer than CLAs.

Audi practically invented this philosophy. And I kinda like Lexus’ styling even if it’s a little aggressive - they actually look good still.

Only thing I want to know right now: is it smoother than the CLA? Because that thing clanks hard over road imperfections and potholes. Kind of unbecoming for a Benz, right?

Disregard this!

Doh, I didn’t realize it was the author replying.

On the original base Veloster? I guess I can’t speak on the top speed but it sure didn’t feel quick to me.

I remember test-driving the (then) brand new Veloster back in 2012 and noticing that it was just too damn slow. Now I kinda want one. Good job, Hyundai.

I’ve seen it used most often in relation to ski/snowboard hijinks, but I suppose it could be used in multiple contexts.
