I’ve lived in New England my entire life so far. I’ve always had all-season tires - never done the summer/winter split on any of the vehicles I’ve owned. I’ve never slid off the road or gotten stuck either. The hate for all-season tires seems to be from people whom are afraid of snow.

My wife bought a 2009 Hyundai Accent brand new. More problems with that vehicle than any other new vehicle we’ve owned. I’m not surprised it didn’t make the list.

Surprised no one has mentioned a motorcycle. Sounds like you have the budget for an amazing bike - and then you can get a beater for winter/when you need to haul stuff.
