I AM a little torn on being forced to play as a specific character though.
Best workaround I’ve found on my PS to keep track of a FEW systems I might want to return to is to warp to the closest neighboring system, find the one I just left, and mark it with a waypoint. You only get three of these though...

Agreed. I think it’s mainly that the head is too big, the thighs are too small, and the limbs are too vertically locked (due to the lack of pivot joints [or poses showcasing their potential if they ARE there, but I’m pretty sure they aren’t]).
