Does it really matter though? Either way the story of Moby dick is still the same story. Since Ishmael doesn't actually exist it's entirely irrelevant whether its a straight-up story or a story-within-another-story-that-we're-not-told-about-for-some-reason. (No offense to your thesis, internet commenter person )

'God Knows', also by Joseph Heller, is utterly fantastic as well, can't advocate that strongly enough. It might even edge out Catch 22 for me.

I'm trying not to be judgemental, but it's a poor show from you if you can't even finish the first page of the NYT.

Wait, have you found this book? Or is this a glimpse of your hope chest?
Also, in tv terms Deadwood fits those criteria in my view.

Just remember: 'He's not a tame lion.'

Portrait Of The Artist as A Young Man, Moby Dick, Gravity's Rainbow (which were all good if intense reads), a few others that I can't remember and the latest Skulduggery Pleasant book which I wish I couldn't. (I may try suppressive hypnotherapy)

The plate of shit they served up for the finale kind of ruined the taste for me.

Unfortunately, he's still tied up making Justified.

I can understand why people would find it hard to get into Whedon, smart-arse dialogue mixed with melodrama won't be everyone's cup of tea. But 'Cabin in the Woods' as his best work? Cabin In The Fucking Woods? Seriously?
My personal ranking of the ones I've seen would be:
1) Buffy
2) Much Ado About Nothing
3)Serenity
4)F…

There have been a small number of black people in britain since at least the time of the romans. (There are records of dark-skinned africans serving on Hadrian's wall) I haven't watched much of it, but I think Guinevere in 'Merlin' starts off as a servant or something anyway.

Isn't Harlow also where crystal meth was invented?

They should look like greeks wearing generous mascara I think.

I'm starting to think that the vampires weren't being played by real vampires either…

'I would never say that I'm glad jim gandolfini died'

Just so we're clear, Adam Richman is the guy who played Snape in Diehard, right?
