I was in South Africa, and a guy I was with was part of a club that collected these large cars. They refered to them as “Yank Tanks”

What was your experience like? My thoughts are based off some European friends who had to do compulsory service (either military, or a community service option) and a former Marine who works for me. (She’s my best worker.)

That said, compulsory national service/military service requirement would be a pretty good idea.

Ain’t that America?

Ugh. That sucks as well. I know price dictates all, but if you do have to fly for an interview or business, sometimes it’s worth it to purchase the upsell, especially if you can board early. I usually fly United/Southwest/JetBlue. On United, I fly enough to have status, so I board early anyway, but on Southwest or Jet

I was flying back from Frankfurt once, picked the wrong restroom, and stepped into a puddle of what I hoped was just water. Thankfully I had shoes on, I couldn’t imagine the rest of that flight with soaked sandals.

I only check a bag if I’m bringing back booze from a trip.

And after all that, still only the second worst administration in Washington.

Nah. That’s more like a Julian Edelman, Willie Snead, or Doug Baldwin type throw. I believe the word is “accurate.”

I’ve visited Gettysburg, Vicksburg, Antietam, Shiloh, Chattanooga, Chancellorsville, Fredericksburg, Manassas, and Appomattox Court House. These living museums, that we as a society spend millions to maintain and upkeep, completely and fully address and preserve the memory of those who died on both sides of the war.

Yup. Mainly it’s people posing for selfies now. Take a gander on Google Images. The statues are impressive, but they no longer deserve places of honor (if they ever did).

There is a stark difference between honoring those that died, and honoring the cause they died for. These statues, as are ones of Lee, Jackson, and the rest of the Southern leadership, aren’t glorifying the dead, they are glorifying their cause. It’s a “Noble Defeat” instead of what it really was, the put down of

Box seats at a Rays game.

They also do it creatively. In Budapest, there is “Memento Park” which houses a lot of statues taken down from Communist times. It’s pretty funny and non-descript, and removes all grandeur. That said some of the statues are pretty interesting pieces of art, but their placement in a lot outside of town is apt

Of course, we only want you on the right side so we can then complain, “Ah, ya fahkin fayehweathah, get off the bandwagon and go back to Cow Hampsha. Goodell sucks. Go Pats!”

That’s Bill Belichick’s SAURON! I hope someone gets fired for that blunder.

Since Lackey has a second career as the replacement to Frank Oz as voice of Fozzie Bear, I’m surprised he got on via hit, and not a “Walk-a, Walk-a”
