I knew someone would bring that up, although good job avoiding Hitler. I mean… eh. Honestly, if Stalin had wanted to retire in peace and we were 100% certain that he would never do anything despicable again… I'd say let him go. Punishment is vengeance. It's society trying to restore balance to a false, man-made moral

And I think there was a very strong implication that he was simply unsatisfied and unfulfilled. Mr. Chips became Scarface, but once he actually was Scarface, it turned out that being Scarface isn't actually much like being Scarface OH JESUS POINT IS it was a business. 9 to 5. Over and over and over. Just like Gus

I really hope we see Lydia again, I'm starting to really like her. If she plays a major role in the next eight episodes, I think she could be a classic character. And is it just me, or did it seem like the show was very subtly hinting at the possibility of some sort of weird Walt/Lydia thing this episode? When she was

See, I never for a moment thought Walt was going to kill Jesse or Skyler. That was why this is one of my favorite episodes in the show's history. As soon as the "Crystal Blue" montage finished and we saw that empty look on Walt's face, I knew where the show was going. Walt was done. He achieved, in a roundabout way,

I think she actually is insanely attractive, she's just unique looking.

I always wonder what people who are new to AVC think when they see all the "I JERK OFF WHENEVER I SEE…" comments.

Also, I've read the script, and it's disappointingly sex-negative in the end. After all the sexless sex acts, the film's final message is essentially "Sex is just another word for guys using you! You don't have to do it to be cool!" Which, the last part is true, but the movie as a whole comes off as a particularly

I was thinking of Todd with his prison connections, just got them confused.

I cheered at the end of that scene when Jesse stuck to his guns. In the past, he's been so easily manipulated, having him resist Walt's guile is almost as much of a victory as Mike's death was a defeat.

Anyone thinking Lydia and Walt might wind up having a thing? I'm surprised the show hasn't tempted Walt with adultery yet.
