With things like Kickstarter I can preorder in a way that should be what preorders are for. It shows demand for something and helps it get to market when it probably wouldn’t otherwise. That, and as you mentioned, imports and the like. Quirky Japanese titles and the like that will be in limited supply.

True story. Usually when a Dev let’s you rebind keys on console the default controls are flawless because its a great Dev that cares about solid control to begin with. Kinda funny!

It is slowly starting to happen. The PS4 has rebindable buttons now. But pressing L2 to punch someone in the face would be worse than pressing square to brake. Rebindable in-game buttons is here and there. Should be standard as it is on PC.
