Great video. As for homo sapiens and monogamy (before endless discussions and moral/social laws advocating monogamy) I wonder how the human female's willingness to mate at non-fertile times including while pregnant affect the human males willingness to remain monogamous. I know this willingness to put out didn't…
The Lord of the Rings Trilogy is always a balm to me, I open it and read at random. American Gods is great. Shadow is very soothing.
I think wine critics try to cram every one of the 10 dimensions into each of their reviews.
But that's just the point. The characters deserve many more notes especially the one's on the witty scale.
What's not cool? The fresco-like painting? Or the pale ghostly visage in the upper window that some will attempt to claim is just a bit of discoloration in the glass!?
Thanks! No, I never heard of it. I'll take a look.

I ordered the cheaper version poster board version of the sticker shown above from Amazon. Both come from a company in Ukraine so shipping is a little steep and it takes about three weeks to arrive.
Thanks and good point, but the child is totally obsessed with all things Doctor Who to the point that all he wants for his birthday is Doctor Who stuff (and a Civilization add on game).
I was looking at these this weekend and can't decide whether or not to get one for son's upcoming 13th birthday. The amazon one looks perfect though I was leaning toward the one at Think Geek to push my order into free shipping territory. Anyone have any experience with either?

Wonderful post I can't imagine how great it must be to work on one of those underwater sites.
I have 16 year old son and so much of his life is spent, clicking, typing and ogling multiple screens in the pursuit of socialization and entertainment that he seems a different life form sometimes.
I would love to see it done as some kind of series with the gang traveling from place to place, following the beam. Getting the characters right seems like it might be the hardest part.
Two important things I learned from watching Blues Clues with my kids. A song to remember the planets in order and "If you lose something.... Go back! Go back! Go back to where you were."
When my mom switched all her old recipes from lard (and ocassionally bacon grease) she replaced it with shortening. Though, it worked for most things, she swears she's never turned out a decent pie crust since.
When asked to explain a piece of art, I've heard a number of creative people claim they have no explanation for how they came up with specific aspects of their art. Stephen King credits the creation source of his stories and characters to "the boys in the basement" working away in his subconscious while he does other…
Like the man at Simple Dollar I had to search quite awhile to find the five items needed to get 15 percent discount, but I limited myself to nonfood items, because I didn't want to take the time to figure out how to work something like cereal for which I might want Cheerios one month, but Rice Krispies the next. I…
