Am I the only one who really doesn’t like their car to be a color with my vehicles being gray , black , white and silver.

No, there are a lot of vanilla and white sneakers people like you.

As the customer, the pressure exerted on you by your bosses is not my problem. If you don’t want to special order a car for me, that’s fine. I’ll take my business to a dealer who is willing to take my money.

This sounds like a horrible dealership. Of the 6 new cars I’ve owned/purchased, 1 was on the lot of the dealer I bought it at. The other 5 were either ordered, or brought in from another dealership. Zero problems, no hassle.

At the point where I’m considering a Golf R, I don’t mind spending an extra $2,500 for a really cool color.

It really is. I took a detour on the way to my brother’s wedding to rescue and partially restore this one that had been sitting under a tree for a few years.
