Exactly! My cousin has been in a 15 year marriage that persists because of a very similar dynamic.

Having not watched any of these people, it seems like there's a weird, triangular dynamic in play.
"LeAnn & Eddie" sound like those cousins you hate who come up from Florida once a year in their RV and you have to tolerate them to make Gramma feel like she has a loving family.
Pathetic, embarrassing, did I say pathetic already? YEESH!
I think the problem with this show is they don't seem genuine. And I often think it is wrong to speak negatively about someone's spouse in public or around children, but I can't help but think LeAnn is trying to push Brandi completely out of the picture and take over the whole Mom title from her - like Rosemary's Baby.
LeAnn Rhimes always looks like she's holding onto her DEAR LIFE when it comes to her homewrecking husband. If she doesn't touch him in some way, he'll run or some shit. I guess when you are home wrecker yourself, fear of karmatastic retribution always hangs above your head. They are both such awful fucking people.
He is so smarmy that I can't even find him handsome. I don't tend to care about celebrity scandals, but I'm going to be all over it when she finds out that he's cheating on her.
I just want to bake them all cookies! Welcome to the resistance guys!!!
You've been pwnd, Washington Post op-ed writers and George Will.
And how horribly fucked up is that this assistant of his is helping facilitate all this. Oh, isn't it so funny? So hilarious? What an idiot. And what an enormous pussy to have to rely on an underling woman to do your shitty bidding for you.
Yeah we wouldn't have put this up if there hadn't been some background digging/verification done.
There's also the whole - ''Oh c'mon honey. Look at it like a compliment. Powerful Guy in Your Chosen Field was just trying to get to know you. You know how artists are. And he knows so many people. You wouldn't want to cause a stir just as you are starting out...''
Erin, Great job getting this out prior to the pro-Terry piece is published by New York magazine.
When you first started doing stories on this guy, I just thought he was a creepy asshole that had gotten on someone's wrong side. Now, it seems he is much worse. On top of being sleazy, pathetic and gross this is horrible and criminal.
I don't have kids, so I might be totally out of line with this, but I've always thought it would be a good rule that if you live under my roof, I have your passwords. End of story.
A female-friendly garage near Paris offers manicures and massages to customers waiting for their mechanic services.
I think its pretty common. I remember Emma Watson saying that she wasn't allowed to cut her hair throughout the Harry Potter movies.
I didn't learn anything about it until university. I read a couple books in highschool (outside the curriculum) that introduced the topic to me and I watched a movie (Where the Spirit Lives) when I was first in university. But I didn't learn real details until I was a grad student in Canadian History.
Yeah. In Canada, it was Catholic and Anglican Residential Schools, wasn't it? Lots of kids to abuse and the churches here have to share the spoils.
It reminds me of the Residential Schools for Native children in Canada- an attempt at cultural genocide- where they also did medical and nutritional experiments on children in additional to every kind of abuse imaginable. As much as I blame the Catholic church for this bullshit, it really is part of a larger pattern…
