I wish that were my experience. I've met/known plenty of guys who (aside from the obvious trader types) legit come from a lot of money who are absolute douches about it. Think the Winkelvoss twins. I mean, I don't know them. Maybe they're nice but they seem like the douchy money type.

But would one not still call it a "couture label" if you're referring to something like Chanel or Versace?

Yup. I'm actually rather prejudiced against guys who obviously have money. I just assume they're going to be douches who use their money as stand-in for a good personality. (And in fact I know many guys with money who are super lovely so in that sense it's not fair. Then again you'd never find THEM even hinting that

And it's so hilarious because they are overtly laying bare their deepest insecurities. ("I make more money than you...I'm above you...you're not good enough to disrespect me." etc.) Like, "we're not close enough for me to know this much about you". The schadenfreude, it hurts!

Yeah. Add to that his idea that she owed him something that he didn't even owe his gf. So fucking creepy.

Sadly, when this happened to me and I told my friend, she pointed her finger at ME and stopped being my friend (for what? Um, turning him down and telling her what happened?), which was totally fine with me at that ridiculous point...and when her douchebag "bf" dumped her she then started calling my recently-ex bf and

Holy. Fucking. Shit.

No problem. And fair point.* I understand what haute couture is technically, but I don't understand where the product lines diverge for a designer and what kind of terminology one would use to indicate that. Like in my first post - is it not still an "haute couture label" if it's the same company and the same brand

Yup. A friend work for a certain haute couture label and had mega problems with them because she would argue about how "you can't charge $300 for a sweatshirt when the zipper is still shit and it's all made in China." They did not like her very much and she did not last long there.

Wow! Did not see that. But it explains the confusion that neither quite fit the bill. Thx!

I can't believe I'm asking this but is that gif a young Leo diCap or Joseph Gorden-Levitt?!

God I wish we could hack HIM for his private stuff and then paste it all over a "gallery" and call it "art" and see how high-minded and trans-fucking-formative is it.

Excuse me. Did you just call 22 Jumpstreet shitty and B-grade!?* I'm breaking up with you.

STOP WITH THE FEELS. I may have broken my keyboard from sobbing. I want everyone to see this movie, though I won't be because I may just cry myself to freaking death.

Thanks. That would be an interesting stat to look at! (The height, size, weight ratios).

Get rid of Stannis, yes. Jon Snow: Neverrrrrrr.

Like which ones?

Yeah. That made me mad all the way through.

As someone who does that sort of thing...to answer that I have to consider how I handle it when the thing I admire is on a man vs on (a fellow) woman. Even with a female, I say something like, "Hopefully this doesn't come off oddly from a stranger, but I like to pass on compliments and...your shoes [or whatever] are
