Cool. I'd love to try to come to the next one, when do you guys meet?
I've been thinking about joining the SCCA for a few months. Maybe I'll join in and give it a go now that it's warming up a bit!

Who all is from Birmingham on here (and what part/which events/shows do you guys tend to go to)? Maybe we could start some form of meet and greet if there isn't already!
I live/work off of 280, and try to go to the Fultondale, Bessemer, and Gadsden shows as much as possible once it warms up a bit, as well as most of…
Count me in too!
Swing by Birmingham, Alabama. Barber Motorsports Museum and track are pretty awesome, and we have some great food (just ask rut!)

As much as my wife and I both driving V8s hurts the wallet, at least I'm not driving a hybrid.
Beautiful drive :)
Wow! That's one heck of a find. Looks fantastic!
Awesome car, sounds like a fun project. Also, totally agree, the wide open sound is cool on a few things (hot/rat rods, race cars) but a good throaty growl is always nice too.
I have to admit if there were a video of this happening, I'd watch it over and over :-)
Picturing that happen made me die a little inside :-/
lol, vents?
#3 - Depends on the car/engine to me, sometimes this can be done well (think ratrods with a nice 427 and straight pipes)
