That kid sounds absolutely awful, just the worst.

Mindy St Clair!!!

So no Kitty Pryde in the next Guardians then?

My favorite ep of the season so far. I liked all of the songs and they felt central to the story and characters, unlike a few of the songs from earlier episodes this season. I was getting a little frustrated that previous episodes hadn’t dealt with Rebecca’s mental health progress, so it was good to see it all unravel.

Agreed.  Still not quite Greg 1.0 styles, but definitely in the ballpark.

And the captain...is...a kiss

I enjoyed it.  It got a lot of the aesthetic feel of the comic right, and the characterizations felt spot on.  Killer soundtrack

I was going to suggest Comixology Unlimited, but it seems they’ve been removed. Apparently, Dark Horse is losing the license. I wouldn’t be surprised if they show up again under Boom, publisher of the new series, or Marvel once the Fox merger is finalized

That Weezer sketch reminded me of the Barenaked Ladies discussion in Community.

Not counting comics, everything I read was not from this year. Going through my Goodreads, I guess my favorite thing was The Hour of The Star by Clarice Lispector. I also loved Never Let Me Go and A Rage in Harlem.

“Or is this 1984?

Nothing is funnier than unhappiness

He had a one-year contract, and after the first season nobody was sure if the show would renewed. He had a Broadway career on hold and his family on the East Coast, so he opted to play it safe. Now, he’s just too busy with Tootsie to come back.

I realize Astin was cast out of necessity, and they did a good job integrating the York/Sargent switch into the plot, but I still found it a bit jarring. Astin as an actor just gives off a different energy than Santino Fontana. I suppose one could read that as off camera character growth, but it didn’t feel quite

What’s up with that?

I need to rewatch, but I thought I saw Amy Poehler as one of Eleanor’s lost identity apparitions.

Five seasons is what I heard as well. I guess we’ll see.

Wait, what?  I had no idea this was in the works.
