I was talking of the clashes outside the stadium. The clashes inside the stadium are a horrible failure of security. It was a case of scum fighting scum.

You see, you are what you roll with, it is hard to parse who was and who is not violent when they are mixed together. Had the Russian hooligans attacked Swedes or some other ‘better’ fans I would have been calling for severe punishment. But, trust me, there are a lot of other fans/people quietly thanking the Russians…
