The reason most still sound like crap is the U.S. headers. They usually lose all the tin can sounds with catless headers and the right exhaust.

This is good but I think this takes the cake.

BMWs are not known best as rally cars.

I congratulate on finding an E46 that sounds quite good (although still not as good as the E36 above IMHO). For this one triumph, there are thousands that still sound like crap.

Here in Finland we have a race class (BMW Extreme) that only allows e36's. I was part of couple race teams a few years, and there you could hear many variations of e36 325i sounds.. But nothing this good, no way.

That is nice, but are sure about BMW V10s and V12s?
