10/10! scream some.  I am being generous with giving it an 8/10.  The flaws cannot be unseen.  Injecting time travel into the MCU will have complicated repercussions soon enough.  Time travel is cool and funny in Back to the Future; not so in this movie, because the MCU is a Universe.  We’ll see.

I think people remember SNL’s political humor as being more than it actually was. They had years of W sketches that painted him as a loveable, adorable dolt. Is that what we should go back to? Or the days when they just put brownface and big ears on Fred Armisen and said he was Obama?

Rey is the best. Her introduction in TFA is so wonderful, so wistful and sweet, and now she’s doing backflips and generally saving the world and I just love her so much. 

I feel like Iron Man 3 was the last time MCU tried anything ballsy and after that reaction to it, they pretty much just defaulted to giving the masses exactly what they wanted.

In a way, Winter Solider, GotG, Civil War, Infinity War, and Black Panther are all far less subversive films than Iron Man 3 was.
