I was passed kids movies as well, The Natural and Bull Durham were my go tos for baseball movies by the time Sandlot came out.

I believe it. I never saw it because it just looked stupid to me, not to mention there being a glut of kid baseball movies out around the same time and none of them looked any better than the other. 

My kid binged the entirety of the Simpsons on D+ in July. Eh what else is she gonna do, go outside?

Discussions of the saddest movie scenes of all time I usually put forth the part where Shoop throws Wondermutts toy into the ocean and it doesn't come back (I also appreciate the fact that they named the toy Bob)

first 1) Shoop never fell in love with Pam, and had to let her down easy midway thru (even the article mentions him fending off her advances) and 2) that boy didn’t sleep with older women, he was a stripper he stripped for older ladies for money. not sure how you totally misread those two plotpoints.

probably my second fave 80s high school movie (after Ferris),  suggested the name Wondermutt for our dog, but was shot down.

While I do go to them for news 90% of the time, the thing that I absolutely hate about CNN is that they’re more focused on making their anchors celebrities than actually reporting. Most of their stories are “analysis” and most of the videos they autoplay are less about news and more about the anchors reacting to…
