exactly, Avatar got there through it being an “experience” Endgame got there through manipulative marketing. (as much as they crow about 10 years in the making,  do you REALLY have to watch Hulk and Dark World in order to get Infinity War/Endgame? more like 3 years in the making since it started with the Russo’s)

honestly though the way they shit on Black widow for the majority of the MCU,  she deserves someone like shortland to direct her solo movie

Im actually kind o lookingforward to this, only because Cate Shortland worked on one of the better movies I’ve seen recently ‘Lore’. Hopefully she can stay outside the mcu trappings and bring some of her own vision (also hope she brings Lores DOP with her as it was shot really fucking well.)
