Sorry, I can’t agree with this. The only thing these kind of people seem to understand is dollars and sometimes you have to take it away from them.  Why should they profit when they’re trying to control and punish over half the population?

Thats the whole point of the boycott.  To enforce people to make choices. They can keep their bill, but get no money. Lose bill, get money.  If there was no negative consequence then boycotting wouldn't work. 

I think that’s especially true of this particular law. My understanding is that, since the fetus as classified as a person, a person leaving Georgia to obtain an abortion could be charged with conspiracy to commit murder. The companies can’t put their female employees in that position.

When she tweeted about this last month, she noted that boycotts have actually been successful in the fight for civil rights in the past. Near as I can tell, her argument against it this time is because it would gore her ox.

As the Post notes, Hollywood heavy hitters who film in Georgia, including Disney, have said they are seriously considering taking their films elsewhere.

But, and this is a novel idea, why not do both? Take your money and bring it somewhere less anti women and also contribute to the campaigns of those going against the GOP. Win win. There are great people in Georgia, but the rest have been voting these assholes in for decades. Actions have consequences.
