Thanks! I love bad movie podcasts. I don't listen to book podcasts so The Book Was Better sounds interesting.

Did you listen to the one on Deep Blue Sea?! We they started to dryly reciting the lyrics to LL Cool J's Deepest Bluest, I lost it! I don't care I loved that song so much and the movie that I bought that damn soundtrack.

I hear you. The more I thin about the exchange I had earlier this morning, the more angry I get. It turned into a pile-on and if I'd would have known it would have gotten to that point I would have avoided that thread all together.

Love Stuff You Should Know! I get mad when I don't see that they've updated for a few days. I'll give Stuff Mom Never Told You a try, the history one is a little too dry for me.

While we're on it, what are your favorite podcasts? What are some that are hosted by/created by women that y'all would recommend?

Yup! Did you listen to the Holiday special? I'm surprised they didn't die of Beyonce overload. I knew The Read was doing well, but damn! So happy for them.

It's just so gross and mushy! Added with, I get really grossed out by seeing mold and moldy fruit is sickening! I really need to work on getting over textures, but other than frozen fruit from WF I just can't do it.

Speaking of annoying fashion words, "curating" when referring to assembling a collection of clothing. It's not like the usage is wrong, it just sounds so pretentious.

I was doing that for a while and was losing some weight, but it got cold, yo! And I used to go with my father, but he bailed on me, I hate walking by myself. Do you create any charts or anything to keep track of your progress?

Fruit is the problem for me. I love veggies if their done up well, but fruit—honestly—freaks me the fuck out. I hate the smell, the way it smells when it rots, the fact that the few fruits I do like are never sweet when I buy them. I only like pomegranates and the last couple of ones at WF I got were sour. I hate them

That's awesome to hear. I really want to start going to the gym seriously this upcoming year. A big thing holding me back is gym anxiety. I just can't get over how small the gym in my apartment is and that it's mainly a weight room, so "bros be broing," and I can't bring myself to go in.

"Adulting." Please stop that! I find a lot words used in mainstream feminist sites to be some annoying. Adding (insert noun) shaming to everything, adding "y" at the end of words—Rape-y, judge-y, shame-y. It's not cute and I find that it weakens your argument.

Every time I hear and read the word "selfie", it feels like nails to a chalkboard. I'm not sure what word could be a shorten version of self-portrait, but anything but that one.

Happy New Year to you too! I look back and could have presented myself more effectively.

Thank you for being so throughout in your response to me. I do get pissed that tone is used to dismiss what discussed on here (especially in dealing racism and sexism) emotions will always be high and when you've had your humanity dismissed for so long, you get angry.

This is disappointing. This is just more red meat for the right wing. If they wanted to discuss Romney's adopted grandson and the racial implications of that, they could have talked about the contrast of this and the amount of racially-coded attack campaigns and comments that were made about Obama and his policies

I feel like I need to get better with dealing with negative comments and replies when I post online. I commented on a story on here, and I feel like I made my point well (I was calling out what looked like victim-blaming on another article) and I got bombarded with comments and more insulted me than addressed my

The more I read about it, the more the fourth gif should be used in all stories relating to that fucking mess. I approve.

I will stay pissed off at that casting decision forever! She should have been Storm! Halle Berry brought nothing to that performance, just pretty and boring.
