You're right, Joe is a pretty boring character. I wish Wegener was still alive. I liked his character, and I don't really feel like his arc was finished good enough. He didn't really do anything to obtain the redemption he desperately seeked.

I can't believe I'm saying this, but Hitler gave a very pragmatic view of the situation. He has no desire to start a war with Japan that would end with nukes being fired, something that would definitely happen with his death (without a clear plan of succession).

Was the Castle featured in the show Berchtesgaden? I know it was given a different name in the show, but I didn't know if there were alternate names for Berchtesgaden. Both were in Austria correct?

How can you think Hitler is The Man in the High Castle? I think you are taking the "High Castle" part a little too literally. Hitler has the films because he is hell bent on collecting them, this was established in episode 2. Why would Hitler make the films, distribute them, and then attempt to collect them? That

I agree about the Nazis being atheist. It's a tad annoying.

I meant fake as in manufactured. Like the films aren't newsreels from an alternate (our) universe and that they were actually just propaganda films.

I haven't read the book but after the pilot I want to. Also I hope the films are fake and alternate universes don't come into this. I'd prefer if this were a straight alternate history.

Hahahahahahaha that was amazing.

The Mist. Still one of my favorite endings ever.

Breaking Bad and TWD share the same universe, Merle Dixon had some Blue Sky at one point.

Yeah, that one is obvious and probably my most hated "plot-hole" the prequels created.

The prequels didn't set that timeline though. That was all set in Star Wars. The Clone Wars had to be recent enough that Luke's father would've fought in it around the time that Luke was conceived.

Hell, Obi-Wan says for "a thousand generations". And that was in the first movie. The timeline has never really changed.

Didn't the Jedi only number in the 1000s during the prequel era? With billions of star systems, it can be pretty easy to avoid one.

Have you paid any attention to Africa in the last few decades?

I'm just starting my rewatch. The ending of the first episode just made me think about how bittersweet and brilliant the finale and the series as a whole was. I can only hope this show goes to get "The Wire" type treatment in the coming years. Because while it was never recognized by the Emmys, it was the best written

Unless more Hannibal is actually made, I'm going to ignore the Bedelia coda, and believe that Hannibal and Will both died during the fall. It's a perfect ending.

The Following's version of the FBI, and Dexter's Miami Metro were both waaaay more inept than Hannibal's FBI.

I just tell people to stop after Season 4. Or maybe 5, just for the fact that season 5 was pretty crappy at the time it aired, but after the utter shit pile that was Seasons 6-8, it looks a bit better.

One thing I never really understood was why the Elves leave. I mean, during the story I figured they were leaving because they thought Sauron would win so they were GTFOing, but why continue to leave afterwords. What signified the "dominion of men"?
